The Mayor of Mexico city had the "brilliant" idea of putting an ice skating rink in the main square downtown Mexico City. for three years now it is the biggest one in the world... it's nice and all but the problem is that in this overpopulated city every drop of water is in high demand. a lot of people living here could use some of that frozen water used for the rink. the weather in Mexico city very rarely gets below freezing temperatures in the winter therefore keeping the water frozen for skating requires a lot of electricity, some people end up without power at their homes thanks to this power hungry skating rink.
This city needs a lot more things done first and could use the money spent on this thing for something more important like cleaning the streets there's a lot of trash in the streets so let's hope someone does something about it.
